Ayano Shigematsu won the 3rd prize at 13th international Telemann Competition, category historical string instruments in Magdeburg.

 

Ayano worked with, among others, Prof. Dr. Pedro Memelsdorff, Prof. Jean-Christophe Dijoux, Freiburger Baroque Orchestra and Bremen Baroque Orchestra, and performed at, among others Festival Oude Muziek Utrecht and Wratislava Cantans in Wrocław.​

Ayano studied with Prof. Gottfried von der Goltz and Kaori Toda, and studies with Prof. Mechthild Karkow.
